Personal inspiring stories from Women on Addictions
Quote 1: There are many kinds of addictions: alcohol, drugs, smoking, gambling, food, porn, shopping, and more. These are things that can take control of our lives and be deadly or devastating in many different ways. Sometimes we are able to control them, and sometimes we need help and support from others. I want to say to everyone that it is okay to get help. It does not mean that we are weak; it means that we care enough about ourselves to do whatever it takes to live our lives free from our addictions, so that we can truly enjoy our lives to the fullest in every way possible.

Personal inspiring stories from Women on Relationships
Quote 1:
As far as relationships, I grew up with the belief that if I treated my husband, a family member, or a friend with love, kindness, and respect, they would treat me the same way. Unfortunately, I found out that is not always true. I never knew what boundaries were or how important they are for any kind of relationship.
We all need to decide and know personally what is acceptable and what is not acceptable treatment from others. Once we find out what our boundaries are, we need to communicate what they are, and then enforce them or not waver from them. Also, we need to know and respect other people's boundaries and realize that they may be different from ours. We all perceive the world differently from the way we were raised, our environment, and life experiences, so our boundaries and what we need may be different from each other.
Boundaries are good! They help relationships thrive because we are letting others know what we really need to have a joyful and fulfilling life with the people that we care about and who we have relationships with in our lives.

Personal inspiring stories of Women overcoming Sexual Abuse and Rape
Quote 1: Sexual abuse or rape is not a topic that is spoken about very much publicly for more than one reason. Some of the reasons are embarrassment, possibly being judged, hurting someone we love, worry about what people might think of us, wanting to forget what happened, or we just don't know what to do with it. Whatever the reason or reasons are that we keep silent, I want you to know there is help and a safe place to go with it all. What has happened to us is not our fault, and it does not have to destroy us or destroy our life. We can become stronger and more empathetic toward others who have encountered the same trauma. We can find healing, and with that, we can help others do the same.
